Day One Commitment

100 Days of Action

As Hennepin County Attorney, I will begin to take action on day one. The first one hundred days will set the course for change at the County Attorney's Office.

My administration will move to protect the most vulnerable among us and make Hennepin County safe for everyone. This is my commitment to the voters of Hennepin County: 100 Days of Action.

Create a Federal Accountability Task Force

Create a Federal Accountability Task Force to investigate and prosecute violations of Minnesota law by federal agents during Operation Metro Surge.

The Task Force will pair volunteer subject-matter expert attorneys from outside the County Attorney's Office, at no cost to the County, with Assistant County Attorneys and Assistant Attorneys General to make sure investigations and prosecutions are done right.
  2. 02

    Revise Juvenile Charging Policies

Revise Juvenile Charging Policies to ensure accountability for gun crimes, crimes of violence, and repeat offenders, including car theft.

  3. 03

Create the Crime Victims' Bill of Rights

Create the Crime Victims' Bill of Rights so victims and their families know exactly what to expect from the County Attorney's Office at every stage of their case.

As part of this Bill of Rights, we will expand and streamline U and T visa certification for qualifying crime victims.
